Gardening
Established and developing gardens enable guests to truly relax in this holiday accommodation.

The garden is constantly developing, the parterre is filled with angelicas, echinaceas, pulmonarias, heucheras and a mass of spring bulbs. The "Darcy Bussell" roses are finally settling in and the Lavandula "Hidcote" is the best it has ever been this year thanks to the dryness. Out of the whole garden the parterre obviously suits it best.

Locally Sourced Plants for this Herefordshire B&B are important.
Like the farmhouse food, “”, pleasure is taken in seeing development and “wow” colour moments. Although like all gardeners Pearl has a habit of saying if only you had been here last week … there is never a time or an area which is not worthy of photographing or painting. Check out Ivington gardens - particularly Aulden Farm, our favourite for irises and inspiration.
Latest development, August 2011, new divided herb garden for guests to enjoy even more privacy, Two new patio areas have been developed. Apple Bough garden has a focus on grasses and magnolias with spring bulbs. Chess Cottage has a jungle feel, amidst the herbs, backing onto the highly productive vegetable gardens. New Kitchen garden is taking shape this year - lovely Kielder Greenhouse, surrounded by reclaimed sleepers and old Victorian tiles and even some reclaimed cedar cold frames - if you can't find me you know where I am!
