It’s always an event when good business friends arrive even to take a photograph of a new bed and a refurbished four-poster bedroom!
Even small events are important to us – our guests have commented that they sometimes want more flexible sleeping arrangements – so a new zip-link bed has arrived. This can be a super king or a twin bedded 3′ arrangement in Chess Cottage. A pure wool headboard was swiftly upholstered – thanks to White Hall Fabrics and their “Moving to Hay-on-Wye” sale. A second headboard is being fashioned out of British fleece ready to furnish the other bedroom. Photos will be popped up on the website as soon as possible.
